About Us

Mark Goldman & Associates provides criminal justice planning services directly to counties, states, Native American nations, and the federal government, as well as design teams. MGA has served over one hundred jurisdictions, helping to resolve problems related to inadequate justice facilities and placement options, insufficient space, and overcrowding.

Mark Goldman, Principal

Mark Goldman has dedicated the past 26 years to planning and programming justice facilities for juveniles and adults. His areas of expertise include jails, courts, justice system offices, and juvenile detention centers. Goldman's education in sociology, corrections, architecture, and planning combined with his "hands on" work experience have given him the knowledge and skills to study and plan for justice facilities. He has worked in many facets in the justice system as a counselor, a grant writer, a resource coordinator, a parole evaluator, an intake officer, and as a staff-supervisor.
